Choosing your pearl necklace

What length should a man choose?

The 45 cm, our standard length, sits at the base of the neck; the 40 cm sits closer to the neck. Our latest necklaces come with a 5 cm extension chain: in 45 cm, they extend to 50 cm, below the collarbone, for a more relaxed look. If you're between two sizes, go for the longer one. Custom lengths are available up to 56 cm.

Can you wear a pearl necklace every day?

Yes. On its own over a T-shirt or with an open shirt, it goes with any outfit, from everyday wear to evenings out.

Are your pearls real pearls?

Yes. Our freshwater pearls are real pearls, never imitation or dyed. Their color is natural, and each one has a slightly different shape and sheen. On our necklaces, they measure 8 to 9 mm in diameter. The glow-in-the-dark beads of the Glow line are Hotaru beads, custom-made for Daïquiri.

How do you care for a pearl necklace?

Put it on last, after perfume and cream, and take it off to sleep, work out or swim. If needed, wipe the pearls with a soft cloth lightly dampened with spring water. Then store it in the Daïquiri velvet pouch included with every order.

Is a pearl necklace a good gift for a man?

Yes: it's a unisex piece, handmade in Paris, and the size can be exchanged within 14 days of delivery.
